Nicola Tilley beautifully captures the feeling of 'Dinosaur Egg Beach'.Porth Nanven in a lovely simple but enlightening manner. Port Nanven is a beach in the far west of Cornwall near St.Just. It is referred to as the 'Dinosaur Egg Beach' because of a large deposit of ovoid boulders covering the beach and foreshore. They range in size from hens eggs to a metre or more in length. They are now protected by the National Trust which owns the beach. The painting is 49.5 x 49.5cm and framed in a very nice washed box frame. The picture was painted on archive quality paper with acid free acrylic and MSA varnish with no need to glaze as it is UV protective.
