This painting of Steven Spurriers wife Gertrude was found along with many others in an old outbuilding belonging to the Spurriers which stored many old paintings. It has been lovingly restored, cleaned and lined and gives us a fascinating look at the wife of the very talented Steven Spurrier RA. Its an oil which measures 29.5 x 35 cm (47 x 57cm in frame) and has been reframed in a stunning modern frame. It is a very mysterious painting which keeps drawing you back.
