Louisa Tebbutt has developed a ground breaking way of oxidising sheets of steel prior to spray and oil painting them in her unique style. 'Speak My Words' came from Louisa's trips to Cambodia and her interpretation of the devastating impact on children during the Pol Pot tyrannical rule there. In her own words Louisa said that; " I've always had an affinity with Cambodia. I've travelled there stayed there and sat and soaked up the amazing culture there." In Speak My Words "I wanted to try and show the unbelievability of a child that should never be in that situation - all their dreams lost all their childhood lost- like bubbles in the atmosphere". Its a sensational painting, made in mixed media and a real eye catcher!
