An incredible new large canvas print from the amazing Marina Syntelis.

In Marina's words:

“Kymopoleia was a sea nymph, daughter of Poseidon and goddess of the storm waves. She somehow appeared on my canvas , wearing her long dress, at the left side of the painting. I spent a couple of years during the pandemic just watching the painting in progress, trying to imagine what the shape meant. Sometimes it felt like a rocky structure, while others it felt like a living creature. I did some reasearch and when I came across Kymopoleia, I was certain it was her. The moment I recognized her in my painting, I started working on it again, adding the final glazes and making sure the sky was bright enough behind the storm and blue enough to promise hope after all storms, past and future ones. “

Due to the scarcity and popularity of her originals (with so much oil layer work Marina only produces 6 – 8 new standard size paintings a year), we were proud to launch a limited edition run of only 15 Artists Proofs and 99 standard Museum quality canvas prints of most of her major paintings to date!

The quality of the hand stretched canvases as seen at The Southampton International Boat Shows 2021, 2022 & 2023 and Boatlife NEC February 2022 are incredible and tremendous value really capturing the feel and power of Marina’s work beautifully!

Framing options are for either a single white float frame or a double white Mediterranean style floating frame (black frames are also an option as are other frame types if required)

The canvas is acid free and can include a UV protection varnish if required.
